Popped in on Miss S and her family for a while in Indianapolis, Indiana and topped it all off with a mini Christmas tree session in her living room. You get more and more adorable every time I see you Miss S!

Please excuse the personal post but we are so excited about the first real snow here in Louisville. I wanted to share a few photos from our jaunt in the snow today. My son, as you can imagine, just ignores me when I take out the camera as he is so used to it by now. It makes for a really great opportunity to practice a mix of portraiture and photo journalistic styles!

This week’s photo over at i ♥ faces is from Dana Suggs Photography and it is a great one! The color edit here was done solely in Lightroom, the vintage and black & white were done in Photoshop. I really am loving learning more and more about the Lightroom program and plan to attend a few classes at WPPI on it. Editing is still one of my favorite parts about custom photography. You can take a great photo and make it amazing in just a few short clicks!

The holidays are quickly moving towards us. Mini accordion books make great gifts for the grandparents! Christmas and Hanukkah cards are in the works.
